Shelter in Place

Shelter in place
Shelter IN place…
Dropping deeper,
into that sacred space.
This time to honour
the Inner.
A sacred pause
exploration-
To connect inwardly
to all that’s called
from the tiniest first beats
of a questing heart.
This Life Mission Song
threading a stronger weave…
A tapestry of lived stories
crescendos
above the darkness,
unfolding imperfectly
into the Light
of Greater Love.

We Stand Together

I am here with tears in my heart.
Learning to open to your presence.
You hold my hand and I can breath.
I can breath Love.
Love for the broken hearts.
Love for the scorched land.
Love that says I am accompanied,
Come closer, my soul sings.
I am the courage in your heart.
We stand together.
We stand for Love.

Do you have a Sense of the Infinite?

Do you have a sense of the infinite?
Does she come to you, wrapped in mystery, a hand to guide your tumbling thoughts?

Breathe, she is there
Breathe, remember what this feels like

It is the dropped in remembrance in our bones
They wake up when you whisper into the marrow, offering guidance, offering truth

Breathe, peace comes upon
Breathe, upon us all now

Every word that we speak is musical
Sing to the mystery with each syllable you speak, and take notice

Breathe, remember her
Breathe, embody her

When we think, we separate, so stay still
Experiencing a moment allows no thought, no capturing, no projecting

Claim your breath
Breathe Being

Do you have a sense of the infinite?

Thread of Intent

Rising
through the verticality,
stretched upwards
by a longing,
by a prayer,
reaching for a higher way.
Carefully brushing aside
the webs of woven stories,
to reveal
and gently excavate
that name
etched fiercely into
the rounded stone.
Unveiling a voice
inhabiting that imprint…
a resounding vibration
concretized
with love.
The window widens,
letting in more light.
The rays reaching
and warming
my trembling toes,
calling forth
an inner movement.
As left foot steps forward,
there’s no turning back.
Crossing a threshold
intentionally fashioned
by a future smiling Self.
That invitation,
that key,
that thread of intent,
guiding me home.

Have you ever wondered?

Wondered if there were no rules,
no one telling, hinting, suggesting,
directing even in the subtlest way
exactly what you would do if you could do anything?
My goodness.
What if the world was just waiting for you to ask this
question which may lead to the next question,
which leads to the next question,
which leads to the one action that will start it all.
What is my heart calling me to?

Clues to the Unseen

The snow parts
to reveal the spring greening.
An inner thawing,
as pieces of frozen past
break off-
released to the rushing river
in a smooth sound
echoing a beckoning freedom.
Dead leaves,
wet with the wintering,
offer up their scent
of what’s been fermenting…
What’s died,
and ready to re-emerge
from the hibernation.
Golden moths
floating in the sweetness,
risking the drowning.
Lured by the hungering
for nourishment,
they dared to enter the hidden darkness.
Open hand reaching down,
uplifting.
Warm breath of Life
offering resurrection,
poised on the rim
between inner and outer.
Returning along the bridge of surrender,
those tiny, wet footprints…
that winding trail
of clues
to the Unseen.

What is sight?

What is sight?

To see, with my eyes,
I saw struggle
limitation
abuse, hurt

I wanted to see a different world
A kindness in the world
a kinder me in the world

I wanted to hear silence
instead of anger
I wanted to hear love

And then a dog with a brain tumor
sat at my feet
I heard silence, and the fall into love

See with new eyes
the inner eyes
Hear with new eyes
the whispers of the Spirit
of Guidance

Seeing, and Hearing – They are together

Prayer Beads

Sitting in the darkness,
wool shawl
wrapped in a zone
of silence,
breathing.
Blue beads,
smooth and cool
to the touch,
glide silently,
connected
by a fraying thread
that encircles
the inner practice
gifted by our Teacher.
Raising my arm,
beads wrapped
around grateful fingers,
suddenly the thread breaks.
Beads rolling
in the darkness,
searching with a growing
light of consciousness.
One by one,
‘Toward the One’,
as the silk connection
re-threads the longing
for a deeper love-
to feel safe,
to trust once again,
in this world.
An ache for what’s real
and true inside me.
Bead by bead,
this Way
un-defends my heart,
until a river of
forgiveness, love, and light
pours forth with new strength,
and embodied faith.
Bead by bead,
beat by beat,
love starts to flow
outwards
in a quenching response
to the thirst
of the world.

Seeking … Meeting The Way … My Intention Revealed

Deep within my heart
There was a lifelong yearning
There must be more
I kept asking
And seeking
Where can I find the answer

One teacher, two teachers,
three teachers, four
I couldn’t find the door

Seeking Teachers is hard work
I had to meet many who said,
my way

And then, the Teachers, The Way
The Teachings, the direction,
the Guidance
to find God within
to be a student of this Way
encouraged to learn and be a student of myself
inside the learning, trials, challenges
Listen

Toward more Loving Kindness
Inner Freedom
Connection, Deeper, Faith

Connection to the Intention I had all along
Deeper meaning for my life
that somehow my life mattered
connection to Spirit, to Love
Faith

That Blooms the Rose of the Heart

 An insistent knock,
an invitation
to allow the breath of Spirit
to move through-
to touch
and fill,
and in turn,
to touch others.
‘Forget self,
become a vessel
for beauty.’
Always present,
always calling…
Stand still
for a moment.
Witness.
Feel.
Fuse into
this Divine intersection
where Soul and Spirit meet,
and something new
emerges,
in a creative explosion
of fragrance
and Light.
This song
ripples outwards
as cascading music.
An act of service
allowing Spirit
to be briefly seen.
That fragrance of Beauty
gently caressing
and enfolding,
calling others to
come home,
to remember.
Infused with
the breath of Spirit
that blooms
the rose
of the heart.

Re-Treat

To treat myself with the love and practices,
 the attunement of my Teachers
 The Blessings of the Truth

The treats are the names of God
 The sweetness, the sound
 The breath

Re-treat means I breathe in the sweetness
 of love
 taste the sweetness of love
 smell the sweetness of love
 touch the sweetness of love

Re-treat – Spirit is always the
 sweetest candy, dessert
 drink, scent

Re-treat

This Love Descending

This Love, Descending on me…
There’s no place to hide, no turning back…
The intentions working silently, yet steadily weaving, creating, unfolding a mystery too grand,
too epic a love story to even imagine.
The realness of this moment echos and reverberates within my blood…
within my bones… The beauty and sweetness
of the Remembrance of THIS LOVE
The oneness-‐
the blessed union and reunion.
Gratitude floods my heart,
As Ego melts and molds and transforms Into a heart
standing naked burning in the Fire, and asking for more… Bring it,
I say YES!
